Here is a Royal Magic Margin typewriter made in 1938 and still in good shape! Look up the serial number KMM12-2422666 in the free typewriter database online to learn everything you need to know about this particular machine. Although it’s in good condition, you will need to buy the right sized ribbons to use it. The old ribbon was left in there so you can see what size you’ll need. Also, the keys could use a deep cleaning with rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits. They do not register all the way to the paper in its current condition. I’m confident this is due to built up gunk over the years and not mechanical failure. Otherwise, all the other components work very well.
