Todd Dowey, owner of Movers4Less, is a New Hampshire native who has lived and worked locally in Portsmouth, NH for many years. After extensive customer service training in the hospitality industry, managing boutique inns and working at hotels, Todd struck out on his own in 2021 selling used furniture as Couches4Less, LLC.
After listening to his customers repeatedly ask him to help them move their homes and apartments, and after he refused to offer them moving services over and over again, one day in 2022 he finally decided that his business did indeed offer moving! The demand was impossible to ignore. From then on, Todd gained the proper insurance, obtained an official moving license from the state of NH, and started doing business as Movers4Less.
About Our Trucks
Our Chevy Express Cargo Van can carry 267.3 cubic feet of boxes and furniture and 2,000 pounds of weight. We can also pick up and deliver from furniture stores, Facebook Marketplace, and estate sales. Small-scale moving priced right.
If your move is larger and requires a Box Truck Rental, let us take the stress out of renting one yourself! We will make the rental truck arrangements as well as drive, load, unload, clean out, and return the truck to its rental facility. We may apportion disposable supplies if needed for your move.
